TESTIMONIALS

What others are saying

"We are so impressed with the outcome of our tests"

"After doing our own like for like 'back to back' tests of this product with other, more well known brands of pellet, we were encouraged to see a marked improvement in the water quality anywhere we have used it. We have also seen no significant drop in grow rate within our growing on ponds.
We were so impressed with the outcome of our tests, we have now insisted our members use only this pellet as feed on one of our densely stocked 'pasty Carp' venues.
After 4 years of exclusive use by our anglers on this venue, we have not once be concerned with water quality issues.
Long may that continue!"

- Reading and District Angling Club

"Not a single Argulus found on any of the fish"

"After having a water quality issue at one of our waters a few years ago we started supplementary feeding using BP Milling Standard pellet.
The effect was almost immediately noticable with both pleasure and match catches inproving along with the quality and size of the fish.
We would definitely recommend this product if you need to improve the health and quality of your fish stocks."

- Crowborough & District Anglers

"Results have been outstanding"

"After a confirmed outbreak of Argulus Mongolianus on our silvers and more devastating on our Crucian carp. we decided to give the Natrepel a go on the standard supplementary feed, which we have been adding and feeding for just over 5 weeks.

The result have been outstanding for us and we hope it continues, from us having fish with gills infested with large and small ( juvenile ) Argulus, to fish only having a couple or three adult Argulus and others being completely clear within the gill area…

We’ve also noticed now on removal of the Argulus they are very lethargic some motionless compared with when we first started to remove them, which was before our diagnosis and the use of Natrepel… before the Argulus were very active when removed like maggots in warm weather… the evidence we have found we would highly recommend this product"

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast do the pellets break down?

Our fast breakdown cereal pellets begin to soften and fragment within around 20 minutes. This is by design.

Rather than remaining as inert pellets, they create a grazing carpet of fine cereal particles that fish actively feed on for hours, often days. Each feeding event stirs the lakebed, agitating substrate, exposing soils to oxygen, and supporting aerobic microbes that naturally recycle organic matter.

As fish graze, particles are repeatedly lifted into the water column and resettle, allowing oxygen to pass through the plant ingredients. This kickstarts microbial digestion and enzyme activity, effectively pre-digesting the cereals and improving nutrient uptake over time.

The fine particle size also feeds algae grazers and invertebrates, helping maintain a balanced, self-cleaning aquatic food web, not just fish!

Fast breakdown isn’t waste. It’s prolonged feeding, natural stimulation, and biological efficiency.

How long do the pellets keep?

Providing that they're stored dry, they will safely keep for 6 months in the paper sacks supplied. There are no preservatives used at all, therefore the pellets are very sensitive to moisture, damp and humidity.

If storing in airtight plastic containers, keep the pellets in the paper sacks, the paper acts as a buffer to absorb any potential sweating within the airtight environment of plastic storage.

Whilst we supply in 500kg bulk bags at great value, we would only advise purchasing in bulk bags if you're likely to use the contents within 30 days. The bulk bags don't provide much protection from damp/humidity, therefore there can be some wastage around the outside of the bags if stored for too long. We would advise that we supply in 25kg paper sacks for longer storage periods.
